My iMac 27 later 2011 do not work. Hw test report an error: 4mot/4/40000003 hdd-1552. What dose IT mean?
forst time crash doing white and blue stripes. After forced poweroff IT don't boot showing large stripes yellow and white or others similar artifact. Sometimes i can login but System halt after few minutes flashing monitor and doing stripes

Now report .. 1536.. No more 1552. However i normaly boot from an external thunderbolt disk (ssd). Problem occur with different boot disk, RAM changed and after nvram reset. I think this is graphical card problem
I'd guess that HDD refers to the hard disk drive, but that is only a stab in the dark.
Look around for the same error message e.g. 4mot/4/40000003
Some folks suggest it could be the fan for the HD (with a different ending code).

Apple don't list these messages for the hardware test results so you will need to contact an Apple store or an Apple repair centre to get it resolved. Call Apple care if you have it.

Apple does not publish error codes, however what you should do is take it to an Apple Store to have a Genius look it over for a free diagnosis or take it to an AASP. Either place you take it will repair it and be able to give you a quotation for the cost of the repair.
Thanks for information about error code. However the problem is always that iMac crash or did not start.

i Have also called the support center to verify i m UNDER cover of replacement program. They confirm to me this but genius must verify that problem is the graphic card. So i fixed an appointement at local Apple Store.
SHould i find something different other than note i posted?
I to boot in single user mode. do you know log conteing hw failure information?

however i runned hw check again and now error have code 1545 ... It seems to change every day... it's stranger, is it true?

GRaphic card replaced for free. Error message was about dirty hd fan.
