Q: ePub images getting cut off in iOS8

I'm working on a .ePub format style book, it was created using multiple InDesign files and exporting to a .ePub file. The book has lots of images and I noticed after upgrading to iOS8 the images are getting cut off with the start of an image appearing on the first page and the end of the image appearing on the next page. This is not desired, in iOS7 when exporting from InDesign and previewing in iBooks everything was perfect, now my book looks horrible in iOS8. Has anyone else run into this problem. I believe it is a page break problem that iBooks is somehow overriding. Images should never break across pages like this, Is Apple working to fix this issue or do I have to somehow fix it myself in my export settings. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm having the same issue with exported epub from Pages. Images used to export fine, but now are displaying wrong, unless I make the text within ibooks app (phone iOS8 and ibooks for OSX) super small. It's definitely something to do with the latest updates to ibooks in both ios8 and OS X because I have an original iPad running iOS 5.1 and the same exported epub files look fine on the older iOS. For some reason the latest version of ibooks is using a container for images that doesn't resize the image correctly to match how much ibooks is "zoom" into the page.
