Q: iPad not finding wi fi printer

I Have an Epson SX525wd  fi printer.  The friend who installed it a month ago tested it and was able to print a page from my iPad.  But wheN I try to it comes up saying it cannot find the printer.  this the first time I've tried so why would this happen. Is it connected to the 8 update ?n I have reinstalled the info on printer for my router details etc just in case but that doesn't help switched on and off. Both devices, nothing.

    Hi, unfortunTely this doesn,t solve my problem. As I have gone through this process before.  I notice on the list that the LIst of compatible printers mine, ie SX525WD is not mentioned only 535, but as my friend who installed it had no,problem primting from it at the time, I presume it is okay. Would there be an issue re the 8 recent update some people are mentioning thT has affected their printing too?
