Oct 20, 2014 10:08 AM in response to BlakeMAC027by BlakeMAC027,The fix for me came once my devices we all up to date. When the OS X 10.10 was released last week everything started working. The simple explanation for me was that now that all apps and hardware is up to date with iCloud Drive it will work properly.

Oct 20, 2014 12:40 PM in response to AndyCooperby cmaus,I found the solution on Yosemite!
Go to ~/Library/Application Support
Move the folder CloudDocs to the trash.
Kill the processes cloudd and bird using Activiy Monitor or Temrinal.
Your iCloud Drive starts downloading your stuff suddenly.
Stupid, Apple, stupid!!!

Oct 21, 2014 10:17 AM in response to BlakeMAC027by Scaldo,I was having the same major issue with Numbers not syncing since upgrading to iCloud Drive. I have probabaly around 50 spreadsheets that I have been using without any major issues for a couple years. I upgraded to Yosemite, but that didn't solve anything. After toggling off iCloud Drive on my iOS devices multiple times, signing out of iCloud on them multiple times, and endlessly restarting my devices. This is what seemed to have solved ot for me. At least so far.
I am running OSX Yosemite on my iMac and iOS8.1 on my iPhone 5S and iPad Air.
I turned off iCloud Drive on my iOS devices.
Logged onto iCloud.com.
I opened every spreadsheet, and noticed that likely 90% or more of them had developed a sync conflict at some point. Not sure how that happened as I hadn't used some of these for many months. Also, the conflict had a spreadsheet from each device with the exact same timestamps. I chose to keep the iCloud version.
I opened each spreadsheet, and made a very slight modification to force it to save a new version.
Once every spreadsheet said that it was last updated "Today", I picked up my iOS devices and turned iCloud Drive back on. They began to download my entire library. This took a little longer than I thought it should have, but I was patient and waited for them to finish. Once they finished, I created a new spreadsheet from each device and named it based on what device i created it on. They all synced properly. Then I tested by opening different ones on different devices, and all the changes seem to be syncing properly now.
Maybe my iCloud Drive was getting hung up on all of the sync conflicts that I was unaware existed.
That's what worked for me this morning. Clearing up all of the sync conflicts.

Oct 21, 2014 4:47 PM in response to nlulysby googull,Me too. There was yet another update to Pages and Numbers just before or on the same day as iOS 8.1 released. But after installing everything available on the release day of 8.1 (yesterday) my cloud documents fell in to sync. No more complaints about dups or triplicates, etc. I took the additional step of disabling the iCloud drive on my iOS devices and then re-enabling them after installing iOS 8.1. I did not purge the cloud cache on my Mac because it was the only device that was clearly in sync with iCloud.com. So for me, case closed. This appears to have been a migration glitch - possibly because I upgraded my iOS devices to use iCloud drive back when iOS 8 was installed and abandoned using iWork on the Mac until Yosemite arrived. it was after installing Yosemite that discovered that icloud.com and my iOS devices were not together. But all good now.

Oct 29, 2014 9:40 AM in response to BlakeMAC027by tunawish,iPhone 5s with the latest iOS 8.1.
Numbers sheets not updating (hangs with the little green line & if you close the app then all you get is the up arrow the next time you open the app...)
It was doing this before I updated from 8.0.x to 8.1 & I thought when the new update would fix this but...

Oct 31, 2014 7:14 AM in response to tunawishby axlpicanha,Same problem here. iOS 8.1 (iPhone and iPad). Yosemite on Macs.
iCloud Drive working OK on both my Macs. On iPad it doesn't sync. On iPhone it works every now and then, but even if it works it takes a long time to sync.
What I did and didn't solve:
- Signed off of my iCloud account on my iPad. Nothing changed. Had a lot of problems having the files in iCloud Drive to download back to Numbers. Edited a Numbers document and it didn't sync back to icloud. It keeps the black arrow like it will update but nothing happens.
- Signed off of iCloud on all my devices including iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and iMac. Didn't solve anything.
- Currently restoring my iPad from scratch.
- My iPhone shows my files in Numbers, but I just created a new file on my Mac 30 minutes ago, checked iCloud.com and it's there. No syncing back to my iPhone though

Mar 22, 2015 4:41 PM in response to Windowsprayby pomme4moi,Sorry others are having this problem, but good to know it's not just me. When I had this problem back in January, I followed these instructions: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6781030
It solve the syncing issue, and Numbers was syncing fine with iCloud across my iOS and OS X devices until about two days ago. Then the sync stopped working again. I tried the same solution a couple times. In both cases, it worked for a few hours, then the problem re-appeared. So still looking for a fix ...
