Oct 7, 2014 12:50 AM in response to Jaap Steenisby King_Penguin,The number of computers that your account is authorised on and the number of computers and/or devices associated to an account are different things.
The 'manage devices' section of your account shows the computers and/or iOS devices that are associated to your account i.e. tied to it via iTunes Match, automatic downloads and/or redownloading past purchases : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID.
For the computers that are authorised (iOS devices aren't authorised/deauthorised) then have you had other computers in the past and/or updated/reinstalled the OS on your current computer and not deauthorised them ? IniIndividual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you have 2 or more computers authorised then you can log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
There can be a maximum of 10 computers/devices associated to an account - but as a computer also has to be authorised (and there can be at most 5 computers authorised) for it to be able to associated, at most 5 of the 10 can be computers.
