Finder Says App Size Folder 13.96GB, About this Mac says 128.72GB

Used carbon copy to clone a failing SSD drive. The cloned drive is over 100GB larger than the failed drive and "About This Mac" says it's Apps yet Finder says Apps is only 13.96GB.

Running a MacBook Pro, Model 8,1 with OS X 10.9.5. Went from an OWC 6G Electra 240GB drive back to my original 320GB 5400RPM drive.

Checked all folder sizes in Finder and they don'y add up to anywhere near what disk usage actually is. Looked for hidden folders etc. and can't find anything that looks that size. Thrash is empty and it's not Time Machine local copies either.

Researched loads of posts with no conclusive answer.

Any ideas?
