Not I.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
- Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
- Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
- Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
- Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
- Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
- Restart your mobile device.

Oct 16, 2014 11:28 AM in response to PlanesWalkerZby tbrownell,Me too. Airplay will work once a video starts, but there is no way to select mirroring as an option. Works fine with my iPhone 6 not with my Mini or Air.
And since the mirroring toggle is missing in the iPads, seems hard to believe that rebooting the network would help.

Oct 18, 2014 3:15 PM in response to tbrownellby CommanderClif,My iPhone 6 is Airplaying and Mirroring to my home AppleTV and both Apple TVs at my office. My iPad3 (first retina version, pre-lightning connector) however is not airplaying to any of the AppleTVs. I truly agree, something happened in either iOS 8 or iOS 8.2 that broke the mirroring function.

Oct 18, 2014 3:32 PM in response to PlanesWalkerZby CommanderClif,Found the "workaround" on another thread.
When you open AirPlay on your iPad and select the AppleTV listed there, to get to the Mirroring you have swipe up on the menu there listing your iPad and AppleTV. For some reason on the iPad the window isn't big enough or its not expanding to show the mirroring option but its there.

Oct 24, 2014 8:15 AM in response to PlanesWalkerZby GMJ14,The problem I have is once I connect it works fine - but for between 3 and 6 minutes then it just decides to drop any connection! There is no problem working from my Macbook Air - just the iPad now that it is on IOS 8.1....Anyone else got any ideas?

Oct 24, 2014 11:17 AM in response to PlanesWalkerZby JohnTheAppleFan,Apple just released update 7.0.1 for the Apple TV that fixes this problem. I had the same problem and now both the Apple remotes and the Remote app work fine with my Apple TV.
