slow wifi after ios 8 and ios 8.0.2

After updating my iPhone 5s to iOS 8 and iOS 8.0.2 the wifi started going slow.

I tested my Xbox 360, Mac Book Pro, iPad 2, iPod tough (1st gen), brother's iPhone 4, mother's iPhone 4s, and many devices that can connect to wifi to see if my wifi was the issue, but it was not. My iPhone 5s is the only device having issues with my wifi going slow.

I've also tested my friend's wifi at their house and i still have the same problem.

I've restored my phone (two times), disconnected wifi from my phone, reseted network settings and all settings on my iPhone, changed my wifi's password (multiply times), disconnected router and internet modem (for 10s, 1min, 10min, 30min, and 1hr). I've done what all I can and ran out of ideas.

I haven't gone to the genius bar because I don't have much time.

If anyone has an idea or so of what I can do. I will appreciate your time in sharing it.

Thank you for your time.

Kevin, the lady at the Apple store told me to do this:

1. Back up to iCloud.

2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

3. Wait for restart

4. Restore from iCloud

5. Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings

6. Restore from iCloud

Nothing changed because when I got home it started doing the cycle again: 4G LTE > WiFi symbol strength full > WiFi symbol strength at nothing > 4G LTE...repeat.

So, I restarted and have to one or two times a day. Now please note that I do keep my phone on all night because my wife and I cut the cord on our land line. That could be a small part of the issue but doesn't explain the WiFi issue. Also, I have to do it at my office sometimes because I'll have emails show up on my laptop but not on my phone. I'm hoping that 8.0.3 or whenever ApplePay rolls out will solve the issue.

I hope Apple fixes this soon. I've tried everything.....reset router, reset network settings, reset iPhone 5s and iPad Air. Made sure router was on WPA, turned that location thing off. Absolutely nothing works. It's got to be a problem with iOS. Every other non-Apple/non-iOS 8 device has absolutely no problems with the wifi. My 1st generation iPod Touch that's still on iOS 5.1.1 has better connectivity than my iOS 8.0.2 devices. This problem is absolutely infuriating.

I have the same problem with an iPhone 6 and 8.0.2. I did a speed test against my old 4S running 7.0 and my laptop. My laptop clocked 45 Mbps down, the 4S clocked 35 Mbps down and the iPhone 6 on iOS 8 clocked a dismal 1.09 Mbps down. Doing a hard reboot netted 41 Mbps down on the iPhone 6, but then the next test it was 14 Mbps and a third test in a row netted 0.11 Mbps down.
