Thanks...have tried these but also without success. Am thinking maybe I need to take the keyboard into an Apple Store and ask them to test it!
Does the light on the KB flash/light?
Try resetting the SMC and PRAM.
Are you using a BT mouse/trackpad?
Do you have another computer to try the KB with? Even a PC will do.
The keyboard was flashing intermittently, but today seems to have given up flashing altogether. No, not a Bt mouse. What is the SMC and PRAM? Thanks for your help!

Hi can anyone help ...my keyboard is not recognised. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps. It's not the batteries, although I did keep getting a message for weeks saying the batteries were low when i knew they weren't. Loose connection ?
