I recently updated to iOS 8 and had alot of glitches and my other bar was at 5gb so i decided to restore. Now it wont let me restore to a later date saying i need to put my password. I entered it and it keeps saying its wrong. I've never set up a encryption for backups or restores.. So i assume its my apple ID password.. but it's not. I've tried everything else and nothing. im at wits end please help

That article seems helpful but now my phone wont synch and iTunes wont recognize my phone anymore.... ever since this update my phone has gone down hill..
I tried everything prior to my system and phone failure. none of those worked. I never put a passcode to encrypt my backups... nothing works.
