I can not open msn hotmail email using mac os x 10.6.8. What browser should I download?

You will have to upgrade OS X to get a newer version of Safari installed.

Thanks, but when I click on the Apple icon to upgrade, it consistently says, "no updates".
I think I need to download a new 'browser'? Like Marverick? or Chrome? Yes?
To upgrade to a newer version of OS X, you must purchase them through the App Store. When yoiu upgrade to a new version of the operating system ill include a new version of Safari.
I'm using OS 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10 and have no problem getting my hotmail account up. There has to be some other cause rather than the need to upgrade !

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10 and MSN page says I am using outdated browser. Can I upgrade the Safari and still keep my Snow Leopard?
I have no problem with Hotmail using these systems.
