I just activated my iPhone 6, and find that the GPS is off. It is displaying an address for my current location as another address that is actually several streets away. I don’t see an option to calibrate, so is there a way to reset the GPS? Hope this won’t require another trip to the Apple Store…

I know this is really late, but whenever I'm off by more than 30 meters or so while at home using Google or Apple Maps, I'll toggle the cellular data on and off while switching between settings and Google Maps. After a few toggles, it rezeroes perfectly every time. Been doing this since iPhone 4.
There is no calibration.
You can restart and see if that makes a difference.

Try restart, reset, restore and/or restore as new. If none of those help then it is back to the Apple Store again.
Cell phones use assisted GPS which is much faster to acquire but not as accurate as satellite based GPS. A-GPS accuracy is dependant upon the data base of the locations of the cell towers. Most of the time its fairly accurate some places not so much. Use the phone for awhile in different locations and see if it improves. It might be just your location.
My 5S worked just fine in terms of pinpointing my location, which was with T-Mobile. My 6 is with AT&T. So, maybe the towers are to blame; I can’t say for certain of course. But thanks for pointing this out, as I did switch carriers.
Had same problem Identified in both Google and Apple maps plus WU map. Opened compass and calibrated then went back to apple map (plus others) and they were correct. Note I also got up and moved a couple meters in the house so that may have had effect. Note first try was simple on/off reset which did nothing.
