    Hi acetopgun,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you may have created an Apple ID for your child through Family Sharing. If so, the birthday on the child account can't be changed after creation, and it'll be necessary to delete and re-create the Apple ID.

You may find these articles on Family Sharing helpful with managing your accounts:

    Best Regards,

    Jeremy

i have the same issue. how do i 'delete and re-create the apple id'? I can't delete my child from family sharing because he is under 13 and I can't delete the account either judging by the information on this forum and others. apple must have the ability to correct a child's date of birth.

Hi Jeremy, I'm new here so hope I am not out of line with the following....

You say 'the birthday on the child account can't be changed after creation, and it'll be necessary to delete and re-create the Apple ID.'

But don't tell us how to do this, nor any links on how, just some useless info links that everyone has probably already read by the time they find their way here for help.
