Followed the HT 1808 instructions word for word, 5-6 times. Still unsuccessful. Message at the end"Unable to restore ipad. Unknown error occurred" How do I bring back my iPad3? i was updating to iOS8.0.2 in the middle of which my iPad3 failed me. Please help

HI ..

See if you can restore to factory settings > Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

If that doesn't work, click here > http://store.apple.com/us/ipad

Then click Account > Return Items

Or take the iPad back to the service center where you purchased it.
