5002 error

When I try to sign into iTunes, I get this message "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (5002). There was an error in the iTunes store. Please try again later."


I have un-installed and re-installed iTunes several times. I have updated my personal information and I have changed my password. I just want to be able to sign into iTunes!


Any other suggestions?

I fixed this error for my daughter after a while by working out that the address in her login profile was a different country from the iTunes and App store that she was logging into...


I also blogged about it to try to help others as this took out a good 6 hours of my Christmas evening trying to set up my kid's MBP.
