Q: Blank screen issue

iPhone 4 running iOS7 with a blank screen.  Unresponsive to home key, lock key, double tap home to clear cache of a frozen app, holding down the lock button for powering off, and possibly the soft reset of holding home and lock together (will be retrying shortly).  Only sign of life is when the phone is plugged in to charge, the plug-in sound is produced.  Otherwise a black/blank screen.

Anything else I can try?

iPhone 4, iOS 7, unsure of specific version of iOS7

    Hey EngPharm,

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your iPhone 4. The following resource provides some great troubleshooting steps. Because you’ve done such a great job troubleshooting so far, you can probably skip to Step 5:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off

    [...]

    5. If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

                   - If the display turns on, go to step 4.

                   - If the display remains black, go to next step.

    6. Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.

    7. If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

    [...]

My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

    Contact Apple Support.

Plug it in again to charge but leave it plugged in for at least 15 minutes. Then reset the phone. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. If the phone starts up, let it continue to charge until the battery is at 100%. If the phone still does not charge have an Apple technician examine the phone. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have a technician examine your device. Or contact Apple Support.

Apple service center( Systematix Media and Macintel Solutions - Apple) andApple India care Senior Advisor, your service is worst and no value of your words. You all can just do fake promises and give fake assurance.Even after calling you multiple times and visiting the service center and sitting there hours and hours you all cant detect a problem and give a solution.

Regertting that I am an Apple iPhone user when Apple Inc. says customer satisfaction is our main motto.
