iPhoto for iOS is not supported on devices with iOS 8 or later. This article will explain how to migrate your iPhoto data to Photos.
Note the " iOS 8 or later". No hope for later iOS versions yet to come.
This is a pity, because I have not found any app for iOS devices, that could replace iPhoto.
