Hello there, Vegas.

Although the following Knowledge Base article is written for Mountain Lion, the steps are still applicable for setting your homepage in Safari on your Mac:

Safari 6 (OS X Mountain Lion): Select your homepage

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11857

Your homepage is the page that normally appears when you first open Safari.

  1. Open Safari if it is not already open.
  2. Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click General.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To use the page in the current Safari window or tab, click “Set to Current Page.”

    • To use another page, type its address in the Homepage field.

    • To use a blank page, delete the contents of the Homepage field so that the field is blank.

You can also choose Empty Page from the “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” pop-up menus.

  4. To make the homepage appear whenever you open a new Safari window or tab, choose Homepage from the “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” pop-up menus.

You can visit your homepage by choosing History > Home.
