Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I received a message stating that the" /System/Library/Extensions/Apple USB Ethernet Host.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used.Please try reinstalling it,or contact the product's vendor for an update.How do I accomplish this?

Delete it, then download and install iTunes from the Apple web site. Just do those steps, and the iTunes install will replace the .kext file during its install.

Note: If you hadn't put spaces in the .kext file's name, you should have found numerous similar postings on this issue. Correct file name is: AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext

Thank you for your reply.I have a lot to learn about my IMAC.When you said to delete it,did you mean to delete AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext?If so,what do I have to do to delete it? clutch13
Drag it to the Trash, or select it and press the Command-Delete keys.
