Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

How do I reinstall Apple USB Ethernet Host.kext?

I received a message stating that the" /System/Library/Extensions/Apple USB Ethernet Host.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used.Please try reinstalling it,or contact the product's vendor for an update.How do I accomplish this?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Delete it, then download and install iTunes from the Apple web site. Just do those steps, and the iTunes install will replace the .kext file during its install.

Note: If you hadn't put spaces in the .kext file's name, you should have found numerous similar postings on this issue. Correct file name is: AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext
