why does my ipad ring when my iphone rings

When you updated to iOS the Continuity feature was turned on by default. Use the Settings app to turn off the reception of a phone call on both devices.

ON your iPad go to:

Settings > Facetime > iPhone Cellular Calls > turn that off

I Figured it out even if face time is off it still rings through to fix got to settings>facetime>TUrn facetime on>in settings below it has iiPhone cellular calls turn off then turn facetime back off it won't ring any more

IIf you have FaceTime turned off in the restriction it won't show to check click on general-restriction-tthen check if FaceTime is turned off ther if it is turn it on and fallow above steps to turn off

I have FaceTime turned OFF and my iPad still rings? if I turn it on, I don't see an option for "Cellular Calls" - I am on wi-fi only.
