This sounds like these applications were purchased with another Apple ID. In order to use or update the Apps in question, you will need to enter the correct Apple ID password. You can attempt to reset the Apple ID password for this account via the steps in the first article below. You can also delete these applications and download them again with the new Apple ID. Please note, if you delete the Apps in question you will loose all App data and may be charged for the application.
