Q: How to restore Iphone from another Iphone Encrypted backup?

Hi

I have an Iphone 5 with IOS 7.1.1 and an Iphone 6 with IOS 8.0.2

I want to restore my Iphone 6 to my Iphone 5 Backup. The problem is my backup has been encrypted and I don't know the password.

I tried so many ways and tools to find password but It did not work.

Is There any way that I have missed to Transfer all my data from Iphone 5 to 6??

If I backup my 5 again I still can't use The new backup as Itunes still ask password and also I can't uncheak Encrypt Iphone backup.

What should I do??

Hi Amir-SH ,

If you have an encrypted backup of your iPhone 5 but do not have the password for that backup, you may be able to recover it using the methods in this article -

Brett thank you for responding me

I read that article as you said but I did not work for me!

I read another topic that said if I can access to" PRIVATE folder in my Iphone 5 then I should go to var and then keychin then if I delete a file in there ; Finally I can restore my Iphone 6 to my backup without pass!!

Do you get it??

Did you hear sth about this??
