I want to give my daughter an apple allowance to be able to buy movies, TV shows, etc., on her own. Before I set up this account I would like to know how the purchases are managed. Let's look at an example:
We're watching Babylon 5 together - we watch it together every Friday night with popcorn. I always buy it one show at a time each week because buying an entire season pass is just too expensive for my budget. Our apple account that we've had for years has a nice little collection of tv shows and movies that we've purchased over the years.
So what would happen if she bought one of the Babylon5 episodes from her allowance account? Would we have to log out of the main family Apple account and then re-log into her account each time we wanted to see a show that she purchased?
Or has Apple thought up a way to tie the 2 accounts together so that everything purchased on one of the allowance subaccounts is also accessible from the main primary family account?
I don't' want to invest in a bunch of movies and videos that will be scattered over several accounts.
