Q: can't tether iPhone 6 to any iPads

have used personal hotspot on many occasions on iphone 5.

 

just got iPhone 6.  turned on hotspot oh phone. Personal hotspot toggle is green and shows wifi password in settings on iphone 6.  ipads (i tried on two iPads) see the iphone, but can't connect (see below)  suggestions?

    I have the same problem.  Followed the troubleshooting guide without any improvement.  The phone will work as a hotspot if I connect it to my laptop through the USB port.  Seeing as there have been multiple complaints on this over the last few months, when can we expect a solution?

    There are a HALF BILLION iPhones. No matter what problem you have there will be "multiple complaints" about it. This does not necessarily mean there's anything wrong from Apple's side. Based on the very small number of "multiple complaints" about this issue I'm reasonably sure there is a problem with your setup or your phone, not anything that requires a solution from Apple.

     

    What troubleshooting have you done? What version of iOS is installed on your iPhone 6? You can always make an appointment at an Apple store and get help with it.
