Q: Why can't I do mirroring from my ipad to my atv using air play ?

I Can't do mirroring from my ipad 3 to my atv via air play.

i Can stream photo from my ipad using airplay .

IIt happend since I update the ipad to iOS 8.

iin my iphone 5s I can do mirroring.

Apple TV, iOS 8

I have done all of this multiple times and it still doesn't give me the option to mirror on an iPad 3 or iPad 4 or my iPhone 5.
