iPhone is stuck in headphone mode

this worked!!! I already went to an apple service store and Verizon, they didn't know how to fix this, THANK You saved me a lot of money

Great fix, worked immediately!

1) have someone call you, 2) turn on to speaker mode, 3)turn off the speaker, 4) plug in your headphone, 5) un-plug headphone.

Hello y’all! I have been trying to remove headphone-mode from my IPhone 6s for like 2 hours. Nothing worked! I turned my phone off and on several times, I plugged and unplugged the headphones likee 20times, nothing!

I read somewhere that If u put the phone in Aeroplane-mode for 15minutes the headphones wouldn’t appear.

I set it on Aeroplane mode while still using wi-fi connection to search for other ways.

I went to Settings-General - accessibility- voiceover( nothing happened) / Accessibility- call audio routing- automatic, speaker than automatic again ( still nothing)

While taking a screenshot of one of the other solutions through the browser, I heard the screenshot sound.

AEROPLANE MODE SOLVED IT!! 😄😄

Try the paperclip option. Stick it in the jack and juggle while listening to music! Thanks to Danny6052

Thank you! This worked for me for my iPhone 5s only I used a toothpick in addition to the smooth thin fabric. And I was also in airplane mode.
