Unlocked iPhone
I Unlocked my iPhone using AT&T's instructions using iTunes. The Phone now just say's Hello. Does that mean all my Data has been erased? Do I have to unregister my Phone with Apple?

So are you saying just by unlocking it, all data was erased?
TThe Hello screen appears on phones that have not been set up or those where all previous info has been erased. Now that the phone is unlocked you can set it up and restore it from your backup. Hopefully you made a backup on iTunes before unlocking the Phone.

Yes, it's a new phone now. Restore your backup.
Thank you Someone in my family just died and I wanted to be sure data was erased, as I never did the actual erase data, just did the iTunes thing. So I guess now it's safe to sell.

I read all that a week ago. But I did not do an erase.... Just the unlock with AT&T. Just looking for an answer about my Data.
BUT is it registered under find my iphone as in activation lock if so you will be selling a useless device unless removed !!!

Activation lock was never mentioned in any of the instructions.
Why would it be useless? Life is hard enough these days, I'm getting the feeling you are making it harder and without any real answers!!!!
