How do you connect your remote Application to the Apple TV?

All you should have to do is be connected to the same Network as your ATV. When you launch the Remote App, it should ask if you want to approve it to another library or set up family sharing. If you set up family sharing you enter you same iCloud information. And Voila. That is the easiest.
