Q: IPhone 6 vibrates but does not ring

Turn the phone completely off (press the off button on right top and the middle button on the phone and slide off if you have to).  It will start ringing again (but it will stop again and you will have to do this once again).  It will at least work for a while.

This is a rather silly, simplistic solution, but I keep forgetting there is a silence button on the side and occasionally it gets turned off.  Make sure it's on or there is no text message sound or phone ring sound.

I can't believe it - been looking for that control since buying the phone - some how i toggled it recently and the phone wasn't ringing.  Thanks 2 problems solved for the price of one.
