Nov 6, 2015 4:50 PM in response to shauni92xby pixel-taker,I plugged my iPhone in and had already downloaded the song I wanted to use as a Ringtone, but whenI tried to follow the directions given, and played the song I want to add as a Ringtone, Cmd I does not work. When I do Cmd I, nothing happens. Any help will be appreciated.

Dec 16, 2015 6:37 AM in response to WiseJDby Coley1730,I have done all of this and I still can't get my song to add to my ringtones. Everytime I go to ringtones in iTunes, I click on add to library and try to add the song but it doesn't add. It shows up in iTunes that it is ther but not able to add to tones. It is really frustrating!!!!

Dec 16, 2015 10:29 AM in response to shauni92xby Ali Reading,There is another way which I believe to be much easier judging by the sheer number of steps listed previously.
1) Open garage band, select new project
2) Drag mp3/AAC file into garage band project
3) Trim song to length by clicking and dragging on either end of the blob to get the right section of music. (no more that 40 seconds)
4) Click export to itunes as ringtone
5) sync to phone
I am aware you need a mac to do this so sorry if anyone reading is using a PC.
