I have a IMac PPC G5 and I changed the HDD recently and after Install ok, my IMac does not switch on anymore.
hw test rose the error code 2STF/1/4:S-ATA Bus0-MASTER?
please help me to understand this issue.

I have a partial list of AHT codes but yours does not fit the format nor the pattern of those I have. However, that error showing up after a hard drive change-out could point to a jumper setting mismatch on the new drive. Did the computer EVER work with the new drive?
The G5 hard drive SATA bus is rated at 1.5GBps; most newer drives are faster (3 th 6GBps). Many drives have jumpers you can move to change the drive so it will recognized the older, slower bus on a G5. I wonder in the jumpers were never changed.
