iPod Touch (5g) is stuck on VoiceOver and wont respond

Hi!

I accidentally triple clicked the home button and VoiceOver turned on. I normally just triple click again to turn it off, but I accidentally turned it off. Now no matter what I do, it wont respond. I tried to triple click to turn it off, but it doesn't work. I tried to shut it off, but it wont let me slide the button to do so. The only thing I can do is turn it off and on again. It just shows a little box in the corner of my screen (like from when it reads what app it's hovered over).

I can't do anything, and I've tried everything. It have yet to update my iPod to ios 8. It's still somewhere around ios 6. Any way to fix this? Please help!
