Q: How to control explicit language downloads for multiple devices sharing one user id?

I set the parental controls for iTunes on my primary Mac under my account with my user id, etc. My kids have their own devices but we all share the same user id for making purchases. I had erroneously assumed that if I set the parental controls on my device, that it would apply to all purchases using the same id. How can I make the parental controls universal?

Device Settings do not get transferred because you use the same Apple ID. And since a Mac has vastly different settings than an iDevice like an iPod or iPhone less chance of that ever happening.

You need to set parental controls on each device. iDevices will have less available restrictions than a Mac though.
