How long will iPhone 5s receive new iOS releases and updates?

I'd like to buy a new iPhone, but since the new 6 versions are too big for my pockets, I'd like to buy the 5s. I'm worried that the 5s may become unsupported soon and won't receive iOS updates then. Is there any information or estimate about this?
