Q: How do I solve error code 0x8002006E)

My business is creating DVD's for clients and since my last update, whenever I submit a Dvd to be burned I get this message (error code 0x8002006E). I am frustrated because I NEED to be able to deliver these edited and finished DVD's to my clients. What is happening and how can I fix it - URGENTLY

What steps do you do to create the DVD?  I always export a QT file (self contained, or reference QT), bring that into Compressor, use one of the DVD BEST QUALITY presents. Take the result into DVD Studio Pro, and then author.

Thank you Shane for you comments. My problem is not in creating the file it is in the burning of the DVD. Since my last upgrade - and possibly since new Macs no longer have DVD /CD players, there seems to be a problem in the burning process. My Mac tells me to insert the DVD ready for burning and the burning process starts but very quickly I get this error message. I have tried several brands of blank DVDs and that hasn't helped. I'm sure there is a problem in the new software and I am hoping Apple will give me steps to follow to restore my previous settings.

could also be a bad burner.  External burners are pretty cheap and might be worth a shot.

What software are you using to do the burn?  Have you tried from within dvdsp?  I generally use roxio toast to do my burns.
