Q: How to import XML into FCE ?

Hello ALL,

 

Trying to export and XML from the latest version of iMovie and I don't see where that is. Very easy to find on iMovie 9...

 

I asked in iMovie forum but no luck so far.

    From the FCE manual:

    Not sure that FCE, being old and abandoned by Apple, will support an XML for recent versions of iMovie. XML standards have changed.

    HI Meg,

     

    I probably wasn't specific enough in my post but I don't see how to export on the iMovie END. I know how to get it into FCE.

     

    "If your version of iMovie can export ...." is probably key. Perhaps the latest version of iMovie doesn't offer XML export.

     

    I guess the abandonment of FCE is why when I type terms into the search bar all the results show dates from several years ago.

    It's already a ghost town. In iMovie forum it's worse.


    If I can't export an XML I'm gonna have to think of a work around.
