While launching iTunes error -45054 appears and stops iTunes from loading

Recently, error -45054 (Unknown Error Occurred) when attempting to start iTune on my Mac.

I've tried reinstalling iTunes, but to no avail.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
