TIME MACHINE icon is not showing correctly
Time machine icon is not showing the circle around the clock arms.......it´s only showing the little "sticks" no circle around it.
Works fine, but it does not seem right
OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Are you talking abut the animation when a backup is in progress?
Mavericks dropped that.

You image does not show for all users like myself. That is a know problem with this forum
Mine does have the arrowed circle with clock hands inside (mavericks)
Do you know how to fix mine?
You could reinstall Mavericks on top of itself via the Recovery HD (restarting using Command+R). No data or apps will get touched. Then run Software Update again to bring it up to date.
You could also try restarting into your Recovery HD (Command+R) then open Disk Utility and try a Repair Disk.
Really appreciate your troubleshooting steps.
Not doing it right now, because have some other work going on and don't want to stop the computer, will be done maybe weekend and will keep you posted.
Thanks
Had Issues with the time not showing and Iphoto not opening, besides the Time Machine icon not showing properly.........All got fixed by installing YOSEMITE
Have you tried removing the menu bar icon in Time Machine prefs then adding it back?
I had this issue once before with the volume icon and it worked for me.
