Magic Mouse Jumpy - Anybody else?

I love my magic mouse for everything except Google Maps and Adobe Illustrator. Perhaps I should be talking to them. Google Maps zooms in and out on its own. It is out of control and near impossible to use. In Adobe Illustrator, it the image occasional momentarily floats around while I try to click on an anchor point. Not as frustrating as in Google Maps. Is there a solution?
