apple callback, do they actually bother?

I updated to the latest version of iOS on my iPad unfortunately my touchscreen doesn't work in one corner normally it's no problem I just rotate the screen but the setup screen won't rotate and the agree button is in the broken corner. I contacted apple last wed and the person I was dealing with couldn't help me so he passed it up the food chain and I was told to expect a call within 24 hours, it's been nearly 6 days. I've booked call back times but nobody has rang. It's getting beyond a joke!

My experience with AppleCare has been that their callback reservations are pretty close to prompt. You however have possibly discovered and brought to Apple's attention a bug that they have been able to reproduce, but has not yet been solved by the programmers - therefore the supervisor has nothing to tell you. You were likely given a case# (?) If so, call back and give the first person you speak with the case# right away - no rehash of the problem. It may not bring you joy, but it is the right action to take.
