Why won't my iPhone 6 plus stay connected to wifi?
I manually reconnect the wifi and then it disconnects. I have turned it off/on and it just keeps switching back to LTE 😟

Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings
Hang in there. 8.1 seems to fix this. I had the same problem until I loaded the 8.1 beta. Hasn't happened since.
You can try resetting network settings, but in my experience the problem will return. Usually the following day.
Thanks for the information... I have reset network settings a few times and still have had the problem as well. I look forward to when 8.1 rolls out 🙂
I have an iPhone 6 with 8.1 and I still have this problem.
I did the reset (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings) and it has helped very little in correcting this issue.
Try rebooting your router by unplugging it for 30-60 seconds.
This issue happens on all wifi connections. So it is not isolated to my wireless router.
You've powered your phone off and on? You've done a reset as in holding down the home & power button until you see the Apple logo, then let go?
I will do it and get back to you as well. I also updated the software to 8.1.1.
That didn't correct the issue either. It disconnected 3 time in less then 5 minutes from my wireless router. This is crappy software and/or hardware and it needs to be fixed. Come one Apple, I have had 3 different iPhone models and never had any issues on the other 2 phones.
Also, this issue only occurs when I am trying to watch a movie/show from either the Netflix and Hulu Plus apps. Most of the other apps work without any issue when I use them on my wireless router or other wifi providers.
You're saying that if you never used Hulu or Netflix, you wouldn't be having these problems? It seems then, it's a problem with those apps, and not with your "crappy software and/or hardware" as you claim, no?
This issue is also impacting others. There is a discussion, on the Apple Forums, titled "iOS 8 Wi-Fi problems" which has 289280 views and 1,209 replies at this time. So there something wrong with the software and/or hardware of the iPhone 6 and other Apple products and it needs to be fix by Apple as the solution provide by all have failed to correct the problem.
Below is the message it gets quite often when using Netflix, as I do not want to use my cellular data to watch videos/movies. A similar error message when using Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime Instant Video, and YouTube.
The number of views and replies in a thread does not indicate how many people have a problem; only how many people are reading and/or replying to that discussion. Even if it did indicate such, there would still be many, many millions of people who are not affected by this supposed problem.
The screenshot you posted is not aproblem but a notification from your software that, unfortunately, cannot be turned off at this time. You may submit feedback to Apple to indicate your displeasure with this behavior at this link: http://www.apple.com/feedback
Have you tried restoring your software yet? That would be the next recommended step in user troubleshooting.
