IOS 8 - Pages not syncing between iPhone 5 and iPad

SInce I updated to latest IOS 8, I find that a new Pages doc created on my iPhone is not visible on my iPad (both linked to the same appleid).

I've checked all the settings on both devices and can't spot anything obvious.

This worked OK prior to the update.

Can anyone help, please ?
