It has only happened a couple of times. The phone will be on silent, vibrate set on. The phone will suddenly start to vibrate randomly all on its own without any notifications or calls. Its like the vibrate has been suddenly turned on and it doesn't stop unless I hit the home button or I have "tapped" the unit with my hands. it then stops. What is going on?

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
You will not lose data by resetting.

So I just got my phone and set it up as a new phone. I have turned off every notification and all places where "Vibration" is an option, set to "none". Still getting random vibration. It seems like it happens mostly when charging and I wonder if it has to do with alerting me to the increased battery life. What are the chances? It's driving me crazy!
