ampersand not above 2 on keyboard after IOS update

After latest IOS update Ampersand is no longer accessible above the number 2

I can only find it on shift "

My keyboard layout is British PC

Any ideas?

HUH?

You are talking about OS X on the Mac? An iOS update should not effect the Mac.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. I have British keyboard layout & ampersand has always been above 7.

shift + 7 = &

System Preferences > Keyboard, Keyboard tab, enable the 'Show Keyboard & character viewers in the menu bar'

Then open the 'Keyboard viewer' from the menu. it will show the layout (& update with the modifier keys).

I see this for British layout…

Hit the modifiers to see the additional characters.

Is it possible you had a custom shortcut for this? Those can be set in the 'Shortcuts tab' too.

You mean the at sign @ and NOT the ampersand &, right?

British PC always has the @ sign on shift '. If you don't like that, then go to system prefs/keyboard/input sources and use the buttons to remove British PC and add British or US. Both of these have @ on shift 2.

Your Mac uses OS X, not iOS. iOS is for iPhones and similar mobile devices.
