Battery not recognized Powerbook 2008

can sombody tell me, how to update BIOS for Powerbook 2008,

Macs don't use a BIOS; that Windows technology. Can you be more specific about any problem or situation that requires some form of upgrade?
Also a PowerBook is the pre-2006 forerunner of the MacBook Pro and by no means the same computer technology. In asking about a PowerBook do you really mean a pre 2006 laptop or the MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 that is in your signature?
It's important to get the model straight because PowerBooks and Macbook pros do not have identical troubleshooting routines.
