Q: IPhone 6 Plus is dead its not turning on

Since I had this problem everytime the phone rebooted the screen would, during the startup phase, turn Red and scroll as if affected by interference. Took it back the Apple store. Hardware issues. They replaced the phone. New one so far is working fine.

take it to an Apple store and have them check it out. They had to replace mine. See my posts in this thread above.

I Have a question guys what if my iPhone 6plus has a pixel lines at the right side of my screen? do you guys experience this too. I need help  because on January 4,2015 I saw that my phone has those lines. I Want to get rid of those lines on my screen. I hope you guys help me and others who are experiencing this problem. Thank you I hope you guys find a solution for this problem.

Holding down the ON button and the home key at the same time worked for me too…and I didn't have to restore anything.  Thanks for the help.

Hi This is not your problem just Return tomorrow for replacement from place of purchase. If its Apple Store make an Appointment. Cheers Brian Ps had same problem with iphone 5S it was dead just replaced no problems  for a year now.

Thank you so much for posting this. My iphone suddenly turned off on my commute this morning and I couldn't get it to turn back on. Holding down both buttons did the trick!

Possible reasons/troubleshooting:

1. Hard-reset, by holding sleep/wake and homebutton BOTH for 5 seconds.

2. Restore via iTunes in recovery mode.

3. This also could be a hardware issue. Maybe a Display error, a battery problem or an issue with the ambient light sensor, beneath the camera.

Remove cover/foil from device and clean the small dot beside the camera with glass-politure.

4. If it is still not working call AppleCare or visit Apple Retail Store because device is defective and needs service.

It suddenly gone blank with on omen and will not turn on, i tried to hold sleep/wake and home button both for many times,but it never work. But the siri is working... I went to Apple store and they checked my phone, as what they said it all good, so they recommended me to replace the display. The thing is i could not believe that they failed for the replace and told me they can do nothing....

I just want to ask if someone know what can i do to get my display fix and get my date back.

Purchased my iphone six plus did the restore screen went black. Tried charging on wall outlet nothing no charging sign no vibrate nothing at all tried on my laptop, laptop was unable to recognize it. Tried on a desktop also nothing. Left it overnight to see if anything would change by morning and still nothing is happening. Will have to take it back, I tried all the troubleshooting but nothing works. It was fully charged when restoring was being done so I know its no the charge.
