I bought an iphone 6 form UAE, but i am using it in Egypt with an Egyptian operator SIM card.
The facetime and imessging are barred in UAE but not in Egypt.
How can i enable them on my iphone?

I have the same experience, bought iphone from UAE (DU) and I managed to get Facetime in Egypt with Local carrier (Orange), but the funny thing is when I came to Canada and changed the SIM card to (Telus) Facetime disappeared again which is really confuses me
Just for your info, when ever you use a UAE sim and go into abouts section in settings of the phone you get a carrier message from du or Etisalat saying do you want to apply carrier settings , just say no and your face time will work perfectly fine in UAE if you already had FaceTime on your phone bought out of Dubai. If you don't have face time next time you change your sim in another country go to about sections and you can say yes to the carrier settings of that country and FaceTime should be allowed

Please read the thread you posted in carefully.
iPhones sold for the UAE cannot have Facetime as it is banned by the Government there. There is nothing you can do to get Facetime on an iPhone from the UAE.
You cannot. FaceTime is permanently crippled from all phones made for the KSA and UAE markets, no matter where you use them.
i think not, i had iphone 4 and iphone 5 before and i use to use it normally with my Egypt subscriptoin.

You probably had a previous phone that although was purchased in UAE was gray market and illegally imported to circumvent the FT ban. If you purchased an iPhone made specifically for the UAE or KSA market, FT is disabled.
I always purchase my iphone form the Apple online store not the grey market.
As I said, the Facetime and imessage activation was blocked by the Eyptian operatior, they deblocked it form the network and it is now active on my UAE purchase iphone 6, so the Facetime and imessage activation is actually dependant on the SIM subscription not the phone market.

There is nothing to fix. FaceTime is permanently crippled from all legitimate iPhones sold in the UAE.
That poster's assumption that the carrier can unlock FaceTime on a UAE phone is erroneous. FaceTime is permanently unavailable on those phones. It is not a carrier function; there is nothing the carrier can do about it.

there is no encriptiin to be removed by the operator
if you use a none UAE operator SIM on a UAE purchased iphone face time and imessage should work without any problem
The locking is for UAE operators only so if you use and Austrailian operator SIM it shoukd work with no problem

Wrong. If the iPhone was legitimately purchased in the UAE (i.e. not a grey-market import), then it will NEVER have FaceTime, at least not legitimately.
If your iPhone was bought in the UAE and it is working with FaceTime, then it has either been modified or it was a grey-market.
