Q: my iphone 4 died and when I try and charge it the screen stays black. i have tried to hold down the home and power button but nothing works. PLEASE HELP!

my iphone 4 died a couple days ago when I tried to charge it with different chargers nothing would work. I have also tried to hold the power and home button down at the same time but nothing will wake it up. PLEASE HELP!
