Q: Safari (Version 7.1) won't let me type any texts on Facebook?!

Hello everybody,

I'm encountering a very weird problem with my Version 7.1 Safari. First of all, I am running OSX Mavericks Version 10.9.5 on my MB pro retina 13" Display.

Here is my problem, luckily, it is very easy to describe, sadly, it is very annoying!

Whenever I am on Facebook and I want to type in a text, I can't do it!

The blinking typing cursor would be blinking in the writing space, but it wouldn't type anything. (This happens in comment fields, status fields, everywhere, even in messages!)

Does anyone share the same feelings with me? Please help.

PS. I am using Chrome to solve this problem :S

    Safari Version 7.1 (9537.85.10.17.1) Mavericks OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

    only I have a 17" mbp.

     

    Exact same scenario, not limited to FB though. Other sites do this randomly and on occasion reloading the page *sometimes* fixes it.

    web inspector does not show anything on the page that might be causing the issue..... even when attempting to isolate the text input field.

     

    Some auto-form-submit sites do not work either since the upgrade.

    I found the solution It is uninstall all the extensions in safari and now check it will work and now install one by one and then check which extension is effecting it
