is iPhoto 9.5 available in OSX Yosemite?

A new, Yosemite version will be available after you upgrade to Yosemite.

I want to know if the iPhoto 9.5 is compatible and available on Yosemite?

iPhoto 9.5.1 is the only version that works with Yosemite. Apple promised a compatibility update for Yosemite.

There is no significant difference between v9.5 and v9.5.1 except compatibility with Yosemite.

As I really like the photo books and greeting cards features. Will those features be available in Yosemite?

Both are available in iPhoto 9.5.1. and working well.

If you are unsure about upgrading to Yosemite, make sure to make a full backup of your system before upgrading (a Time Machine backup or a bootable clone).This way you can downgrade again, if you should find you are missing important features or apps you need are no longer working.

It is a good practice anyway never to upgrade without a working backup.

iPhoto 9.5.1 works with Yosemite just like it did with Mavericks.

Mine upgraded to 9.6 (910.29)

The instructions above helped me solve it. Trash the app. Then be sure you are logged in to the App Store, and I went to Purchased and saw the iPhoto 9.6.1 version and clicked Install. Had to then install the Library Updater program.
